My early training was in education. Teaching, in one form or another, has been intertwined throughout my whole career, whether in the classroom or on the bench. I enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others achieve their goals.  Problem solving skills, project coordination and out-of-the-box thinking are my strengths, bringing a point of view that blends culinary with the business side.

I work for a neighborhood pizzeria with 60+ units in the greater Cincinnati, OH area. We feature a diverse menu, with dine-in and delivery capabilities.

Interest in learning styles is what attracted me to the Certification Commission. How could we increase participation in certification and ensure a greater success for all candidates? How could we improve the process? Helping to draft the Core Competencies provided a better understanding of the exciting growth opportunities for RCA through certification.

I look forward to additional improvements in the coming years, enabling more individuals and groups of culinologists to achieve certification. Our individual successes will enhance RCA’s crossover knowledge base.
