Position: Culinary Intern - R&D
Location: Plano, TX

• Culinary Product Development
• Support Customer Inspirational Culinary Presentations
• Develop and Document Culinary Gold Standard Prototypes
• Support culinary resources for all growth and innovation planning activities.

Key Responsibilities
• A thorough knowledge of food preparation and presentation
• Successful completion of assigned internship project
• Ability to develop culinary concepts and recipes
• Knowledge of current culinary trends
• Strong communication and organizational skills, display efficiency, reliability and accountability
• Ability to support Customer Presentations and Internal Meetings
• Ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing)

Culinary Innovation Center Operations
• Oversee and ensure all food items are prepared to standards. Ensure production is ready and quality is met. Ensure product is delivered on a timely basis.
• Develop and implement culinary recipes and gold standard formulas
• Track food costs, purchases, waste control, and product utilization
• ServSafe food handler certification
• Must be familiar with MS Office suite
• Support steward on daily basis
• Must have reliable transportation
• Required to work core hours in addition to outside hours on a case-by-case basis
• Relocation support is not provided


• Must be enrolled or a recent graduate of a Culinary, Culinology, Culinary Nutrition or Food Technology program

Compensation: $15/hr 40 hrs/wk
