Seattle Region Puget Sound Restoration Fund Tour

Come tour the Puget Sound Restoration Funds test facility and lab. There we will be led through their Olympia Oyster Recovery & Hatchling Program, Abalone Hatchling Recovery Program, NOAA's Sablefish Aquaculture Research Program, and the Ocean Acidification/Sugar Kelp Investigation. Lunch will be provided by the RCA and there will be drinks and snacks purchasable on the ferry.

Parking & Trip Details; We will be walking on to the Fauntleroy-Southworth Ferry at 11:30 a.m. Free parking will be available at Lincoln Park. The ferry takes 40 minutes to cross the sound to Port Orchard and costs $6 to ride (not included in registration). In Port Orchard we will be picked up by an Uber (provided by RCA) to be driven 10 minutes to the Restoration Fund. An Uber will return us to the ferry where we will head back to the Fauntleroy terminal.
