Event Summary:
As the season of giving begins, the Ohio Valley RCA invites you to roll up your sleeves and give back. Join us for a hands-on morning of service at LifeCare Alliance's Mound St. Kitchen, where our culinary community can put its skills and heart to work for neighbors in need.

About LifeCare Alliance: Caring for the whole person since 1898, LifeCare Alliance provides nutrition, health, and support services that are often the last intervention before homelessness or institutionalization for the people they serve. As a culinary organization, we're proud to support a mission where food is at the very center of the impact: More than 21,000 clients served across 5 Central Ohio counties Over 1.3 million meals delivered to 5,730 Meals-on-Wheels clients, plus 295,000+ meals for kids 92,920 meals provided at 59 dining centers and restaurants across Central Ohio 75% of clients live alone, and often their only daily human interaction is with their Meals-on-Wheels delivery driver Powered by more than 8,500 devoted volunteers who logged over 154,000 hours of service last year, LifeCare Alliance depends on hands like ours to keep meals moving out the door. Our morning at the Mound St. Kitchen puts us right in the heart of that work. After we serve, we eat! Volunteers are invited to gather for lunch together afterward — a chance to reflect, reconnect, and enjoy some well-earned camaraderie.
