Job Description:

Create culinary-driven gold standards and consumer-inspired concepts across a wide variety of food categories.

Develop prototypes and culinary applications that demonstrate the breadth and value of the Firmenich portfolio of flavors and ingredients.

Represent Firmenich to our customers by presenting concepts, prototypes, and technologies via in-person demos as well as virtual tele-tastings.

Build culinary-to-culinary connections with key customers.

Partner with Marketing & Insights team to identify and explore current and future trends that inspire consumers.

Collaborate with Application Technologists to evaluate and explore Firmenich flavors and ingredients in order to find solutions for customer needs.

Education: Degree in Culinary Arts. Food Science degree is a plus.

Work Experience: 

  • 10+ years’ experience, with a mix of restaurant and corporate roles.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% to customers across North America.
  • Knowledge and practice of GMPs and other FSMA requirements in kitchens, labs, and pilot plant. ServeSafe certified is a plus.
  • Membership in RCA and/or similar industry organizations.
