Get to Know Thomas
Thomas Bliss is a Researcher for the University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant Program and Director of the Shellfish Research Laboratory in Savannah, GA. I've been at the lab for 12 years and the focus of the lab is develop and promote shellfish aquaculture in coastal Georgia through research and extension. Currently, the we are focused on developing oyster aquaculture in Georgia by producing oyster spat in our hatchery to provide to commercial growers and for research.
