Pre-Conference Promotion

Voicemail Drop (Exclusive) - $3,000

Record a voicemail drop to be sent to RCA Conference attendees and promote your sponsorship or encourage attendees to visit your booth on site. Content subject to RCA approval.

Registration Open Postcard (Exclusive) $3,000

Sponsor the postcard that is sent to prospective RCA Conference attendees when registration opens. Your logo will be placed on the postcard.

Twitter Chat $2,000

Participate in a twitter chat with RCA and reach over 1,700 followers.

Attendee Networking

According to 2019 conference attendees, networking was one of the most important reasons for attending the conference. Showcase your brand at the events that have the highest value to your audience.

Opening Reception (Exclusive) - $20,000

Sponsor the kick-off to RCA Annual Conference as attendees gather to network and sample dishes from more than eight participating local restaurants. This event will take place Wednesday, April 15 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Your company will be featured as the exclusive sponsor of this reception in pre-show emails, on the website, on signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all restaurant stations and bars, and RCA will offer a specialty cocktail named after your company. You will also have the opportunity to staff a food station and serve your food product, if applicable.

Regional Luncheon $15,000

The regional luncheon is a popular event where attendees can connect with others from their area of the country over a buffet themed to local San Diego cuisine. Your company will be featured as a sponsor of the luncheon in pre-show emails, on the website, on signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all food and beverage stations. You will also have the opportunity to provide your food product to be incorporated into the buffet, if applicable. Sponsor may provide marketing collateral to be placed on attendees’ chairs (sponsoring company responsible for printing and shipping).

Awards Ceremony and Closing Reception - $10,000

Help celebrate the success of RCA members and close the event with a bang! This event will take place Friday, April 17 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.  RCA awards will be given out during a presentation at the beginning of the reception. Afterwards attendees celebrate with appetizers and drinks. Your company will be featured as a sponsor of this reception in pre-show emails, on the website, signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all food stations and bars. You will also have the opportunity to provide your food product to be incorporated into the menu, if applicable.

Attendee Breakfast - $8,500 (Availability: two)

Sponsor one of two attendee breakfasts during RCA Annual Conference (Thursday or Friday).  Your company will be featured as a sponsor of the breakfast on the website, on signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all food and beverage stations. You will also have the opportunity to provide your food product to be incorporated into the buffet, if applicable. Sponsor may provide marketing collateral to be placed on attendees’ chairs (sponsoring company responsible for printing and shipping).

Attendee Networking Lounge - $8,000

Host a place for attendees to network outside of the booth in a more relaxing environment. The lounge will be branded with your company logo on signage and will come equipped with furnishings to help attendees relax and kick up their feet. You will have the opportunity to distribute your company literature in the lounge.
 

First Time Attendee and CCS®/CRC® Reception - $7,500

Connect with a targeted audience of RCA-certified professionals! This event will take place Wednesday, April 15 from 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. Your company will be featured as a sponsor of this reception in pre-show emails, on the website, signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all bars. Representatives from your company may attend and network with attendees.

Conference Kick-off - $5,000

Help welcome attendees to the RCA Conference by sponsoring a Conference Kick-off during registration hours on Tuesday, April 14.  Your company will be featured as a sponsor on the website, on signage, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Sponsorship to include providing your company’s packaged snacks to be handed out to attendees as they arrive. Sponsor may provide marketing collateral to be handed out to attendees as they check in as well (sponsoring company responsible for printing and shipping).

Late Night Reception - $5,000

This popular themed reception will take place Thursday, April 16 10:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Your company will be featured as one of the sponsors of this reception in pre-show emails, on the website, signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all bars and will be incorporated into branded items related to the reception theme.
 

NEW!  Craft Beer Booth Crawl - $5,000

Showcase San Diego's craft brewery scene and drive traffic to your booth by sponsoring a craft beer tasting bar from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.  Your company will be featured as a sponsor on the website, at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at your bar. This opportunity will be co-branded with other sponsors (each to have a different craft beer offering). 

Focus Group - $5,000

RCA will work with you to convene a group of attendees targeting your demographic to help your company gauge interest and generate important learnings and insights on new product ideas or concepts. A meeting room will be provided to facilitate the Focus Group Session during the conference. Sponsor will be responsible for providing any food and beverage as incentive for the attendees to participate and for any required audio visual. Attendees will  receive a $50 gift card for participating, provided by RCA. Limited to 8-15 attendees per focus group.

Networking Coffee Breaks - $3,000

Reinforce your company’s presence by sponsoring a coffee break on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the conference. Your company’s logo will be displayed on coffee sleeves, as well as on signage near the coffee stations. You will also be promoted in the pocket guide, and mobile app and have the opportunity to display literature.
 

Snack Break - $3,000

Sponsor a snack break during RCA Annual Conference (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday).  Your company will be featured as a sponsor of the break on the website, on signage at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at the snack stations. Opportunity includes providing your packaged food product.

Student Member Town Hall Meeting and Reception - $1,500

Connect with a RCA’s engaged student membership, the next generation of Culinologists! This event will take place Thursday, April 16 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Your company will be featured as a sponsor of this reception on the website, at the event, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. Napkins with your logo will be placed at all food and beverage stations.  A representative from your company may give a two minute welcome to student attendees prior to the meeting.

NEW!  Expo Traffic Driver Game - $500

Purchase a spot on the RCA Expo game card and promote your innovative product. Attendees will be required to visit each of the booths on the card in order to be entered to win a raffle. Upon completing the game card attendees will vote for the most innovative product. The winning company will be awarded the 2020 RCA Expo Product Award. 

Educational Opportunities

RCA gathers the best in the business to expand the knowledge of culinary and R&D professionals at the annual conference. Support the professional growth of conference attendees while increasing your brand’s visibility.
 

Spotlights - $10,000 (4 available)

Be a part of RCA educational offerings by sponsoring a keynote. You will receive prominent recognition during the keynote, including your logo on the screens before the session and mentioned in the opening remarks, as well as promotion in the pocket guide and mobile app. Marketing collateral will be distributed on chairs in keynote room (sponsor responsible for shipping and printing).

Vendor Session in Culinology® Expo (30 minutes in length) - $5,000 (limited number available)

Expand your presence outside of your booth by giving a 30 minute presentation in the Expo hall theater. Standard AV included, any demo supplies are the responsibility of the sponsor.

Pre-conference Tour - $3,000

RCA offers a variety of local, immersive workshops the day before the conference officially kicks off. Please reach out to ahaigh@culinology.org for available tours. Sponsorship includes recognition in pre-show emails, on website, pocket guide, and in mobile app. You may provide marketing collateral to be handed out to attendees (printing and shipping responsibility of the sponsor).

Breakout Session - $2,000

Reach a targeted audience by sponsoring a breakout session of your choice (topics available upon request, first-come, first-served). Sponsorship includes signage outside breakout room, recognition in onsite schedule and mobile app, and the opportunity to introduce the speaker.

Brand Recognition/Traffic Drivers

Contribute to the success of the conference while increasing brand recognition among more than 1,200 top industry professionals.

NEW!  Selffee Edible Photobooth  - $10,000

Showcase your brand through this interactive and delicious activation! Attendees take photos using the Selffee Photobooth and then enjoy a cookie with their photo and your logo on it. For more information visit: https://selff.ee/. Limited number of cookies available. Your company can staff the photobooth to interact with attendees while they wait for their cookie to print. You also have the opportunity to provide marketing collateral to distribute. Sponsorship will be promoted on the website, on signage, in the mobile app, and in the pocket guide. 

Wifi (Exclusive) - $10,000

This sponsorship opportunity includes your logo on signage located around the conference area with wifi instructions, as well as recognition in the pocket guide and mobile app.

Conference Tote Bag (Exclusive) - $8,000

Tote bags contain essential meeting materials and promotional materials. Bags are distributed to each attendee at registration. Sponsoring company’s logo will be strategically positioned for lasting recognition. Includes one registration bag insert.

NEW!  Sunglasses - Exclusive - $8,000

Attendees are guaranteed to take advantage of San Diego's great weather during the week. Remind them of your brand every time they go outside by showcasing your logo on a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses will be handed out at registration during the event.

NEW! Beer Glasses  – Exclusive - $8,000

Attendees will receive a branded glass "ale can" at registration during the event. This giveaway is a perfect souvenir for attendees to take home and remind them of their time in San Diego exploring the craft beer scene. 

NEW! Beach Mat – Exclusive - $8,000

Attendees will receive a branded  beach mat near registration during the event. This giveaway is a perfect souvenir for attendees who are extending their time in San Diego to take advantage of the beautiful beaches or to take home and use throughout the summer.

Water Bottles – Exclusive - $8,000

Sponsor ecofriendly water bottles that attendees will carry around during the conference and then take home with them. The reusable water bottles will have your logo and will be provided to attendees in the registration tote bag.

Mobile App (Exclusive) - $7,500

Your company will receive logo recognition in the mobile app and the RCA website, as well as in other communications throughout the conference. Includes one push notification.

Conference Name Badge Holder (Exclusive) - $6,000 

Your company’s logo will appear on all name badges given to attendees at registration and worn throughout the conference.

Charging Station - $5,000

Allow conference attendees the convenience of charging their mobile devices while attending the conference! As a charging station sponsor, your company will receive a large advertisement for the duration of the event, as well as logo exposure on signage and in the mobile app.

Hotel Key Cards (Exclusive) - $5,000 

Get your logo in front of attendees when they’re coming and going through the hotel key card sponsorship. Key cards will be co-branded with RCA.

NEW! Beer Can Koozies – Exclusive - $5,000

Attendees will receive a branded koozie in the registration tote bag. This giveaway is perfect for attendees to use throughout the week as they explore San Diego's craft beer scene. 

Room Drop - $4,000

Your promotional piece will be distributed under each hotel room door. Items will be shipped at direct cost to the supporter. RCA must approve the items.

Ribbon Cutting - $4,000

Be the official sponsor of the grand opening of the Expo! Your logo will appear on the ribbon and a representative may be present for the ribbon cutting and photos.

Column Wrap - $3,500

Your company’s graphics/logo will appear on a column wrap in a high traffic area of the convention center.

Registration Counters - $3,000

Get your brand in front of attendees first thing when they arrive to check-in at registration. Your logo will appear on the registration counters, along with any additional sponsors and RCA branding.

Foot Print Decals - $2,000

Lead attendees straight to your booth with foot print decals. The decals will use your branding and be placed at the front of the Expo hall to your booth.

Floor Decals - $1,200

Decals with your artwork will be placed throughout the convention center in high traffic areas. (5) 2’x4’ decals are included.

Registration Bag Insert - $1,500

As a sponsor, you can put your promotional item into the hands of RCA attendees on site. All giveaway items must be approved by RCA.
 

Product Showcase - $1,000

Expand your presence at RCA Annual Conference outside of the Expo Hall. The product showcase will display your product sample, along with your booth number, to help drive attendees to your booth during open hours. The display will be placed in a high traffic area in the convention center for the duration of conference.
