Remote Proctor Service

RCA’s Remote Proctor Service allows certification candidates to take their final exam remotely via their computer using a Zoom video conference link. The service is available to candidates who have completed their application process and have been formally approved to take the exam by the RCA Certification Commission.

How to Schedule Your Exam

Once you have completed the application through the RCA website and paid the certification testing fee, please follow the steps below to secure your date.

Eligibility: The RCACC will confirm your eligibility and provide a list of upcoming examination dates. Seats are limited and assigned based on payment timestamp.

How the Service Works

You will take your certification exam on your computer using RCA’s online testing service, Classmarker.

  • Integrity monitored via Zoom video call.
  • Full workspace sweep with your webcam required.
  • Completion notification via Zoom chat function.

Protocol and Requirements

  • Block 2.5 hours (30 min check-in + 2 hour exam). Arriving late forfeits your seat.
  • Quiet, distraction-free environment with reliable Wi-Fi is mandatory.
  • No food or beverages allowed during the examination period.
  • Must provide a valid, up-to-date government ID to the camera.
  • No scratch paper or notes permitted. The proctor may request workspace views at any time.
  • Results sent via email within approximately 14 business days.
