Rocky Mountain RCA : The Spud Lab - Showcase and Tour

Potatoes USA in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Research Chef Association, presents an evening deep dive into the technical and creative world of potato innovation. The event is designed to showcase how the humble potato is blending culinary arts and food science to achieve strategic industry objectives.

We will tour of the RiNo Spud Lab, including a Certified Culinary Medicine Kitchen and a professional Film Studio. Attendees will get multiple culinary demo's led by the PotatoesUSA R&D Culinary team. These sessions will offer CE credits and will go into the weeds of potato science, technical functionalities, nutrient profiles, and modernist culinary applications with accompanying tastings.

After the event, we will grab an informal networking drink at one of the best new Filipino spots in Denver: Magna Kainan right around the corner.

Free validated parking will be available in the parking garage next to the event space . Tour of PotatoUSA's state of the art "Spud Lab" which will include a presentation and tasting of innovative new concepts from the R&D Chef team.

Speaker:

RJ Harvey RDN, CEC is the Culinary Director for Potatoes USA, focusing on recipe development, foodservice marketing, and educating on the nutritional benefits of potatoes. Formerly with Compass Group and winner against Alex Guarnaschelli on Food Network's Alex vs. America, he brings expertise in culinary science to promote versatile, healthy potato usage at the Spud Lab.
