About the Program

Advancing Leadership in Culinology

The RCA Future Leader Program is a selective, two year-long professional development initiative that identifies and cultivates high-potential professionals in the fields of culinary arts, food science, and product innovation.

Rooted in RCA’s mission to advance Culinology, this program equips participants with the leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills required to excel in today’s competitive food industry.

Program Objectives:

  • Foster confident, capable leadership within the RCA community.
  • Connect participants with senior-level mentors and industry networks.
  • Inspire long-term engagement in RCA leadership roles. 

 


 

Program Framework

A Structured Path to Professional Growth

The program combines virtual learning, one-on-one mentorship, and real-world leadership experiences. Participants also take part in RCA leadership roles, where they have the opportunity to make a difference within the RCA community.

Program Commitment:

  • Have your employer's support to participate
  • Commit to a two-year program (Year 1: Learning & Exploration, Year 2: Call to Action)
  • Be a current dues-paid member of the Research Chefs Association
  • Plan to attend the RCA Annual Conference
